Miramar, Florida (April 19, 2012) - Due to construction that will close the primary runway at Niagara Falls International Airport, Spirit Airlines flights between Niagara Falls, New York and Myrtle Beach are cancelled from May 15 - June 20, 2012, and flights between Niagara Falls, New York and Fort Lauderdale are cancelled from May 15 - June 30, 2012.
"We apologize for the inconvenience that this causes our customers and we look forward to resuming our Niagara Falls service as soon as the runway construction project is complete," says Spirit's Vice President Airport Services Jake Filene.
Spirit is contacting all customers with reservations to/from Niagara Falls during the construction project. Customers are being given a full refund, as well as a $100 future travel voucher. Or customers may choose to change their reservation to a different Spirit city within the United States.
